Chris Joyce - Founder and President
Chris Joyce is the Founder and President of Logical Progression. Chris is a seasoned product architect with over 12 years of experience in the software industry and over a decade of experience in electronic forms. He has designed and implemented dozens of commercial software solutions for healthcare, clinical trials, finance, retail, military and telecom. Additionally, Chris has experience building and managing a commercial software development organization.

Before starting Logical Progression in 2005, Chris was the Director of Software Development and Professional Services for PatientWorks, a patient ID and registration company. He started the company’s software division, directed the launch of the PatientWorks product and was instrumental in growing the customer base to over 40 hospitals nationwide. Chris has spent several years developing enterprise software solutions for companies like Seer Technologies, Ericsson, Source Technologies and GE Capital, gaining both large and small company experience. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.

Andy Philpotts - Chief Technologist
Andy Philpotts, the company's Chief Technologist, has over 33 years of experience in the software industry.  For the majority of his career, Andy has specialized in the development of enterprise software development tools.   Before joining Logical Progression, Andy spent 9 years at Microsoft and at IBM in senior development positions --heading up development on the Windows Phone team at Microsoft and on Websphere at IBM.  Andy was Director of Technology at Peopleclick, providing solutions in the Human Resources space.  He served as a Director of Development at other companies, including Reciprocal and Seer. Prior to moving to the U.S., Andy ran a UK-based company called Designer Logic, specializing in the development of visual software development tools.  Andy holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, University of London, and a postgraduate diploma in Software Engineering from Hatfield Polytechnic.

Matt Leary - Manager of Quality Assurance
Matt Leary, the company’s Manager of Quality Assurance, has 7 years experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical software industries. Before joining the Logical Progression team, he was the Manager or Professional Services and Support for NewBold Corporation where he directed the implementations, testing and support for the PatientWorks software division. He also has several years experience as the Vice President of Management of Information Services for La Conexión Spanish Language Newspaper where he guided the newspaper production and technical infrastructure efforts of the organization. Matt holds a degree in Applied Science, Biomedical Materials from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Cheryl Joyce - Director of Marketing
Cheryl Joyce, the company’s Director of Marketing, has 17 years of experience in marketing/communications, focusing on the healthcare field for the past 5 years. Cheryl has provided marketing consulting services through her own company, J Fusion Marketing, since 2000, working extensively with companies in the clinical trials, tablet PC software and patient identification fields.  Prior to owning her own consulting business and working with Logical Progression, she managed, created and executed innovative and successful marketing/communications programs for companies in the network security, leadership development and special events fields.  Cheryl earned her undergraduate degree in Business/History and her Master of Science in Marketing degree from The University of South Carolina in Columbia.
