New Orleans, LA - February 26, 2007. For the fourth year in a row, Mi-Co, the leading mobile data capture software company, will be well represented at the largest healthcare technology conference held in the United States. The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) hosts the 2007 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition in New Orleans, LA from February 25 through March 1. Today, healthcare professionals and organizations face growing demand for improved and measurable quality of patient care. While scores of data are already collected, much of that is paper based, usurping hours of time that could be spent directly with patients. Mi-Forms Healthcare Solutions help eliminate much of that paperwork, while enabling more accurate and timely capture of data, contributing to improved quality of patient care. Mi-Forms Healthcare Solutions are a unique combination of software and services, offered from Mi-Co and selected Mi-Co partners. These solutions streamline the flow of information between patient, healthcare giver, and administrators. These solutions also address a number of IT challenges in the healthcare industry including accurate and efficient paperless outcomes reporting and paperless patient registration. Capturing healthcare information with Mi-Forms combines the features and benefits of paper forms with the efficiency and accuracy of electronic technology. “Mi-Co had such a positive response from customers, partners and prospects regarding our presence at HIMSS 2006 in San Diego, we want to build on that success at HIMSS 2007,” said Mi-Co CEO, Dr. Greg Clary. “Bringing partners including Lenovo, IBM Business Partner Techway and Logical Ink into our booth will allow us to showcase complete solutions for mobile data capture in the healthcare arena.” In addition to highlighting specific solutions for hospitals, home healthcare agencies and other healthcare providers, Mi-Co and its partners will hold strategic discussions with key healthcare software development companies. These companies are currently evaluating the Mi-Forms Software System for use in extending their solutions to Tablet PC, Digital Pen and Pocket PC devices. Approximately 25,000 attendees will gather at 2007 HIMSS to discuss the major technology issues in healthcare delivery and to hear from industry and technology leaders such as Steven Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, renowned author Steven Covey, and former Secretary of State General Colin Powell. For a little fun, an evening event is planned that will include Hall of Fame music groups the Temptations and the Four Tops. Mi-Co continues to add to its growing customer base in the healthcare industry having recently licensed software to Sutter Health in CA, Jackson Memorial Hospital in FL, Wilson County Home Health Agency in NC and the Kershaw County Medical Center in SC.
