|
Logical Ink helps Griffin meet Planetree goals of patient-centric services Cary, NC, January 22, 2009 – Logical Progression, a software company specializing in tablet-based registration solutions, announced today that Griffin Hospital is implementing the Logical Ink® electronic charting solution in its new, state-of-the-art Center for Cancer Care.
Logical Ink® helps Griffin complete its patient-centric goals by giving patients a user-friendly way to complete forms. Logical Ink®’s tablet solution can be held like a clipboard and forms can be filled out with a digital pen so the patient experience remains natural and easy. It also achieves Griffin’s business goal of a complete electronic record by eliminating paper and scanning. Logical Ink®’s software creates an electronic chart based on an HL7 feed from Griffin’s MEDITECH system. After forms are completed on the tablet, they are validated and sent to their IMPAC EMR seamlessly. By implementing Logical Ink®, Griffin has eliminated paper forms and anticipates greater patient satisfaction with their registration process.
“Logical Ink is a perfect complement to our Planetree goals of being a more patient-centered organization,” says George Tomas, Director of Information Services for Griffin Hospital. “The staff and patients love the solution.”
“We are excited and honored to have Griffin using our software in their new cancer center,” says Chris Joyce, President and Founder of Logical Progression. “Griffin’s approach to patient care is in line with our goals as a company -- building products that enhance the patient experience.” About Logical Progression Logical Progression (http://www.logicalpro.com/) is a software company specializing in elevating the visit experience.
